How to Attach a Buckle to a Bracelet
1. Tie the strings to the buckle like this:
2. Attach the bracelet to something so it could be easy to work.
3. Make a bracelet according to the pattern you have chosen.
4. When the bracelet is ready tie the rest of the strings by pairs so that the knots don't loosen.
5. Fold the ends of the strings on the other side and sew them to the bracelet with small stitches.
6. After you have sewn about 0,5 cm cut off the excess strings.
7. The length of the bracelet should be about 2cm less than your wrist circumference.
8. Cut of two straps out of some leather material. The width of the straps should be the same as your bracelet’s one.
9. Sew the straps on the bracelet so that they cover the part with the sewn ends of the strings. First, do it on the back side.
10. Then put the other strap of leather and sew it onto the front side. Thus, the end of the bracelet is sewn in between the two straps.
11. Make some holes with an awl at the level you need.
