How to Fasten a Friendship Bracelet
It will be easy to make friendship bracelets if you attach them to some surface, so here are some different ways of fastening the strings.
Method 1
We will need a binder clip like this:
Place your strings in the right order and fasten them with a clip to a book:

Method 2
We will need a clipboard. Place the strings in the right order and fasten them to your clipboard.
Method 3
You can also tie your strings in a knot and fasten them to your jeans or pillow with a safety pin. The only drawback here is that the beginning of the bracelet won't be straight at first and you will have to level it out later.
Method 4
If you want to make a fancy trinket on a safety pin or just a straight beginning withought loose strings, you can tie your strings like this:
